A RECAST of my classic conversation with comedian and actor Jimmy Shubert (Last Comic Standing, a million other things). We recorded this in my hotel room in Sioux Falls, SD and we have a great conversation about how social media is ruining our lives, NFL scandals, comedy, traveling the world and much more. Plus a classic voicemail from Brittany Friesner and Joe Stone on a special road trip. It's a great one. Get on it, again.121 - Tom Brady and Tommy McNamara in Bloomington, IN

I sit down with comedians Tom Brady and Tommy McNamara in Max Thompson's bedroom in Bloomington, IN for a great chat about their recent move to NYC, comedy, the future and more. Plus John Cessna calls in to let us know about this year's Christmas Card. It's a great one, get on it.

Also JD Short aka BassDbler calls in to talk about abstaining from Fallout 4, playing a Dune convention and geeking out over bass gear. It's a great one, get on it.114 - RECAST - Marc Maron in July 2014 in Bloomington, IN
November 19, 2015 08:20 AM PST
Of all the big, "classic" conversations I've had on the podcast, this is probably the biggest. Marc Maron is not only a fantastic comedian, author and actor, but he is also the creator and host of WTF, arguably the most influential podcast of all time. Having Maron on not only legitimized SOTR to a certain extent but our conversation also opens with a moment that has gone on to become referenced repeatedly on future episodes by guests and myself alike. This is essential Strangers On This Road. Also, we have a voicemail from Ben Bizuneh (LieGuys, Limestone, E!) documenting the feedback one gets from posting a viral vid. This is a great one, get on it. Again.113 - Lizzy Cooperman in Atlanata, GA
November 16, 2015 08:27 AM PST
I sit down with comedian and writer Lizzy Cooperman (Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Soup, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser) in her hotel room in Atlanta, GA during the inaugural Red Clay Comedy Festival. We have a great chat about her unique approach to comedy, her influences, life and much more. It's a great one with someone who quickly became one of my favorite festival pals. Get on it.
Mat Alano-Martin interviews fellow comedians, musicians and other professional travelers about the place they are, the places they've been and whatever else comes up in conversation.
